Integrated circuits are used in our every day’s life and they have changed the way we are living. Computers, medical equipment, mobile phones, fridges, cars, airplanes, all of them rely on integrated circuits. What would a world without integrated circuits look like? Our daily life will stand still; Stock exchanges will break down, the same with entire countries. Its the 50th anniversary of integrated circuits on the 12th of September 2008. Integrated circuits are everywhere, in art as well. Happy birthday IC!
