Inauguration party at schaltWerk

We have opened the schaltWerk in January. In the broadest sense it deals with a "Hackspace". The alignment is more towards art and less towards construction of robots. The later is naturally not missed out.

There is free entry to schaltWerk (you have to pay entrance fee for the entire Unperfekthaus). The room number is 203. Everyone who is interested in interactive art, Arduino, soldering circuit boards, etc. are most welcome.

Inauguration schaltWerk

The schaltWerk, a place for interactive art and electronics, opened on 27/2 its doors at the Unperfekthaus. The former physics lab was redesigned over several months and was transformed to serve its new purpose. For the opening, Dominik Jais, the artist from Essen exhibited vast works of “Speicher & Bewegung”.

The inauguration takes place from 19:00hrs. in schaltWerk (Unperfekthaus - Room 203).

Taking part at group exhibition UPH Allstars

From the 01st of April to the 30th of June 2011 two of my paintings are on show at the Unperfekthaus Essen (UPH). Together with oterh artists, the UPH Allstars, I'm exhibiting at the UPH restaurant. The rooms are e5, e6 and e22.

New album - Marvin Hook : Possible - out now

In Januar 2011 I released my latest album: "Marvin Hook - Possible". It is available at Amazon, iTunes, Musicload and other online music stores.

New Artwork online soon

At the moment I'm working on some new series. First one is called "The Cycles" and is acrylicis on 60x80cm canvas. The second one is Chipart and will play with keyboards, roms, etc. There will be some new Floppy Disc Sculptures as well. I'll have to wait for the photos to bring them on. In the make is a new short video. It's called "4th generation" and is about doubt and belive, especially in what we belive and trust.

Permanent loan to the Kleines Theater Essen

At the detectiv story "Plötzlich und unerwartet" which runs at the Kleines Theater Essen from the 25th of September, 3 of my paintings from the Cycles Series are shown. Check them out!
