Electronic Music
In 1991 I started djing in my home town. After some gigs at different locations I got resident at a club in a town nearby. With 5 years of djing I realized that djing is just one part of the cake and therefore I started composing electronic music. For the different types of music I created different alter-egos which you will meet below:
Lucas Crusher
The alter-ego Lucas Crusher came from the sound I originally produced: A very rough freaky style which was later then described by Bleed from DE:BUG as early Scandinavian. After already djing for 5 years I started to compose techno - electronic music - in 1996. My first setup was CS1X and Logic (pretty uncommon during that time using software sequencers). Hardware got extend by some 303 clone, a Roland Juno and an Akai S2000. Later I also added some small drum machines (606 & 707). When I realized that the drums were still not good enough, I bought one of the best new drum computers during that time, the Yamaha RM1X. Since then I used this machine like mad, especially for playing live sets.
