Kurbel is an interactive installation consisting of 2 cranks (Kurbel is German for crank), 2 Gameboys™ and 2 LEDs. The set-up is divided into two sides. Each side has a crank, a Gameboy™ and an LED light. The power coming from the cranks usage lights up the LEDs. The Gameboy™ by itself doesn't have an background light though the gamer could only play if someone else is producing power with the crank. The 2 Gameboys™ are connected by the Linkcable. The game of choice was Tetris™ which was then played by the 2 teams against each other.
This installation was produced to celebrate 25 years of the Gameboy™ in 2014.
