Disks are available in different sizes from 3.5" over 5 1.4" to 8". I use them very often to creat unique and outstanding art.
The interactive sculpture "A question of speach" shows how people react to a continuous low fidelity playback of recordings of famous speaches of the 20th century. They have the choice to passively listen to the recording, or take action to stop the playback. In order to stop the playback two people have to interact with the sculpture simultaneously. They must stand on the opposite sides closer than 50 cm to the sculpture. Once either leaves their position the playback continues.
Germany is advanced in wind power. We have those modern "wind mills" everywhere. AND: thats good. We can't rely on fosile fuels. Sooner or later oil and gas is gone. AND: what then?

We want more all the time. More new smartphones, more new computers - BUT we never think about where the more new comes from. We are so detached from earth that we produce and consume 24/7/365. And what do we leave behind?: an uninhabitable planet we leaf for the next generations to clean up. Is this the way we should live our lives? Certainly not. We are not on this planet to cause its collapse.
