Schurenbachhalde

The Ruhr-Area is famous for their slack-heaps ("Halde"). Most of them have a sculpture or some kind of monument at their top.

I visited the Schurenbach Halde during Essen 2010. It was that that year when Essen was culturual capital of the EU.
