unperfekthaus

Place in Essen founded by Reinhard Wiesemann. I started my career as an artist there as any other of the "official" art places didn't let me in. And those you have to pay heavily for I couldn't afford.

I started at the Unperfekthaus with painting every Thursday and then soon run a group of software developers. Later on I opened a room called the SchaltWerk, the local hackspace. I developed sculptures, interactive installations and started floppydiskism. If you are new in Essen I suggest to pay the house a visit. It is worth it.
